Details

Jump into the world of road cycling with Cannondale's fast CAAD8 7 SORA. Its svelte Cannondale aluminum frame features a shaped down tube with a large-diameter and thin-wall profile for a light, stiff, and efficient ride. The relaxed frame geometry is dialed for long rides and up front the vibration-damping carbon fork smooths the way. In the components department you get a smooth-rolling Maddux wheelset propelled by a precision-shifting FSA/Shimano 18-speed drivetrain with wide-range gearing for easier climbing. And a nice bar, stem, seatpost and seat from Cannondale rounds out the specs.

Cannondale's SAVE rear stays create a micro suspension system that allows the rear wheel to track the ground, improving comfort, control, traction and handling. This allows the bike to roll faster, accelerate better and corner harder without affecting pedaling efficiency.

My very first road bike, I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants a proper introduction to road cycling. A great bike for the price.
