Maximize your ascending and descending capabilities with adjustable travel and adjustable geometry. Cannondale's trail-dominating Trigger HI-MOD Team starts off with a Ballistec carbon frame to accelerate your riding to the next level. With ESC-TC tech, the frame pivots are stout for incredible efficiency and pin-point handling when pushing it deep in corners. Trail-taming suspension comes courtesy of Cannondale's exceptional 140mm Lefty SuperMax fork, and Fox's plush DYAD rear shock with 140mm of smooth, controlled travel in Flow mode, and 85mm of damped, efficient travel in Elevate mode. A bar-mounted lever let you decide. In either mode, SRAM's 11-speed X01/XX1 drivetrain has the range to crush any terrain, the simplicity of a single-ring setup, and the speed and chain retention SRAM is known for. The whole thing rolls on light, fast, and trail-tough Mavic CrossMax 27.5-inch wheels equipped with grippy Schwalbe tires, while scrubbing all that speed has never been easier than with Magura's MT6 discs. And with a selection of Cannondale's own ultralight components, a racy WTB saddle, and RockShox's Stealth Reverb dropper post, you truly can maximize your ascending and descending capabilities.
With Fox's DYAD RT2 rear shock, you can have the best possible performance across the widest spectrum of terrain. Developed in collaboration with Cannondale, the dual-travel, dual-personality DYAD RT2 is actually two completely different shocks housed in one package: Elevate – a shorter travel, smaller volume air shock for rolling and climbing terrain, and Flow – a longer travel, high volume linear air shock for aggressive descending.
Activated on the fly by a handlebar-mounted lever, each mode has its own dedicated damping circuits, fully optimized for the intended terrain. Switching between the Elevate and Flow modes also changes the bike's sag point and geometry. In Elevate mode, the bike rides higher, resulting in steeper head and seat angles and keeping the rider in a better position for climbing and tight technical terrain. In Flow mode, the bottom bracket drops, lowering the center of gravity and making the angles slack and stable, perfect for charging descents.
